The T.R. Miller Tigers edged the visiting Excel Panthers softball squad by a margin of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league battle.

The Tigers now sport a 2-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Northview for a non-league battle on Tuesday, March 10. T.R. Miller will confront a Chiefs team coming off a 15-7 non-league loss to West Florida (Pensacola, FL). The Chiefs record now stands at 2-1.

With the loss, Excel moves to 3-1 on the season. The Panthers travel to Hillcrest (Evergreen, AL) to confront the Jaguars in a non-league battle on Monday, March 9. The Jaguars come into the battle with a record of 0-0.
