In Tuesday's league test, the visiting Asheville Cougars lacrosse squad scored a tight 6-4 victory over the Hickory Red Tornadoes.
The Cougars now have a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they host Watauga for a NW/The Mountain/Western Foothills/Mtn. Foothills test on Thursday, March 10.
