Georgia High School Soccer - Tift County knocks off Lowndes
March 8, 2022: Valdosta, GA 31601 Tift County Blue Devils (Tifton, GA) supporters were pleased Tuesday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the host Lowndes Vikings (Valdosta, GA), 7-1 in a league challenge.
Next, the Blue Devils confront the Camden County Wildcats (Kingsland, GA) in a AAAAAAA Region 1 challenge, on Friday, March 11. Tift County will attempt to move on its 9-1 season record. The Wildcats enter the challenge with a 2-3 record after their 8-0 non-league loss to Glynn Academy (Brunswick, GA).
The Vikings now possess a 2-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Pierce County for a non-league challenge on Friday, March 11. Lowndes will confront a Bears team coming off a 5-0 league win over Appling County (Baxley, GA). The Bears record now stands at 6-3.
