Texas High School Softball - Liberty bounces Hardin-Jefferson
March 8, 2022: Sour Lake, TX 77659 Liberty Panthers (Liberty, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Hardin-Jefferson Hawks (Sour Lake, TX), 6-1 in a league challenge.
The Panthers now own a 16-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Livingston for a 4A Region III District 21 challenge on Tuesday, March 15. Liberty will face a Lions squad coming off a 4-0 league win over Hardin-Jefferson (Sour Lake, TX). The Lions record now stands at 14-6.
With the loss, Hardin-Jefferson falls to 1-2 on the campaign. The Hawks travel to Livingston (Livingston, TX) to face the Lions in a 4A Region III District 21 challenge on Friday, March 11. The Lions enter the challenge with a record of 13-6. Livingston won 14-0 in their recent league challenge against Splendora (Splendora, TX)
