West Virginia High School Basketball - Morgantown holds off George Washington
March 8, 2024: Morgantown, WV 26501 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Morgantown Mohigans (Morgantown, WV) and the visiting George Washington Patriots (Charleston, WV), saw Morgantown's basketball squad hold off George Washington by a tally of 54-50.
With the victory, Morgantown improves its record to 18-8 on the campaign. The Mohigans travel to Wheeling Park (Wheeling, WV) to confront the Patriots in a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 9. The Patriots come into the challenge with a record of 23-4. Wheeling Park won 63-56 in their recent non-league challenge against Huntington (Huntington, WV)
