In Friday's non-league challenge, the South Point Red Raiders (Belmont, NC) baseball squad the visiting North Lincoln Knights (Lincolnton, NC), by a final score of 6-4.

With the win, South Point upgrades its record to 2-2 on the season. The Red Raiders host Ashbrook (Gastonia, NC) to encounter the Greenwave in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 12. The Greenwave come into the challenge with a record of 1-0. Ashbrook won 16-15 in their recent non-league challenge against Rocky River (Mint Hill, NC)

With the defeat, North Lincoln drops to 1-2 on the campaign. The Knights travel to St. Stephens (Hickory, NC) to face the Indians in a non-league bout on Tuesday, March 12. The Indians enter the bout with a record of 1-0.
