Western Guilford Hornets (Greensboro, NC) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad top the host Atkins Camels (Winston-Salem, NC), 17-3 in a non-league test.

The Hornets now have a 5-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Grimsley for a Metro test on Tuesday, March 12.

In their next game, the Camels face the Eastern Guilford Wildcats (Gibsonville, NC) in a Mid-State/Mid Piedmont/NW Piedmont test, on Tuesday, March 12. Atkins will attempt to move on its 2-3 season record. The Wildcats come into the test with a 0-2 record after their 8-7 non-league loss to Southeast Alamance (Haw River, NC).
