Lanier Longhorns (Sugar Hill, GA) fans were pleased Friday as they observed their soccer team hold off the host Jackson County Panthers (Jefferson, GA), 2-1 in a league challenge.

Next, the Longhorns confront the Berkmar Patriots (Lilburn, GA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, March 12. Lanier will attempt to better on its 3-5 season record. The Patriots enter the challenge with a 6-2 record after their 5-2 league win over Norcross (Norcross, GA).
