Texas High School Softball - Wylie bounces Lakeview Centennial
March 8, 2024: Wylie, TX 75098 Wylie Pirates (Wylie, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Lakeview Centennial Patriots (Garland, TX), 16-0 in a league challenge.
The Pirates now own a 15-7 record. They take the field next when they host Rowlett for a 6A Region II District 9 challenge on Monday, March 11. Wylie will face a Eagles squad coming off a 5-4 league loss to Garland (Garland, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 7-11.
With the loss, Lakeview Centennial falls to 0-9 on the campaign. The Patriots travel to Naaman Forest (Garland, TX) to face the Rangers in a 6A Region II District 9 challenge on Saturday, March 23. The Rangers enter the challenge with a record of 3-6.
