With the triumph, Emerson moves its record to 7-1 on the season. The Mavericks host Heritage (Frisco, TX) to confront the Coyotes in a contest on Tuesday, March 11. The Coyotes come into the contest with a record of 3-7.

The Trojans now possess a 6-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Wakeland for a 5A Region II District 9 contest on Friday, March 14.
