The Pioneer Valley Panthers (Santa Maria, CA) baseball trounced the host Hoover Patriots (Fresno, CA), 13-2 in Saturday's non-league challenge.

The Panthers now own a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they host Wasco for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 11. Pioneer Valley will clash with a Tigers team coming off a 12-5 non-league win over California City (California City, CA). The Tigers record now stands at 2-2.

With the defeat, Hoover drops to 0-5 on the year. The Patriots host Washington Union (Fresno, CA) to clash with the Panthers in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 11. The Panthers go into the challenge with a record of 5-0. Washington Union won 16-6 in their recent non-league challenge against Chowchilla (Chowchilla, CA)
