The Northern Guilford Nighthawks (Greensboro, NC) baseball trounced the visiting Morehead Panthers (Eden, NC), 11-1 in Saturday's non-league challenge.

The Nighthawks now own a 6-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Southeast Guilford for a Metro 4A challenge on Tuesday, March 11. Northern Guilford will clash with a Falcons team coming off a 6-2 league loss to Grimsley (Greensboro, NC). The Falcons record now stands at 0-3.

With the defeat, Morehead drops to 2-3 on the year. The Panthers host Person (Roxboro, NC) to clash with the Rockets in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, March 12. The Rockets go into the challenge with a record of 4-2.
