Utah High School Volleyball - Payson over Desert Hills

The Payson Lions volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the host Desert Hills Thunder to 1 in the Lions non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Lions now have a 6-1 record. They play next when they travel to Salem Hills for a non-league outing on Tuesday, March 11. Payson will play a Skyhawks team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Pleasant Grove (Pleasant Grove, UT). The Skyhawks record now stands at 0-1.

With the loss, Desert Hills drops to 4-4 on the campaign. The Thunder host Crimson Cliffs (Washington, UT) to play the Mustangs in a 4A Region 9 outing on Tuesday, March 18. The Mustangs come into the outing with a record of 5-1. Crimson Cliffs won 3-2 in their recent non-league outing against Grantsville (Grantsville, UT)
