The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Hoover Tornados (Glendale, CA) and the visiting St. Pius X-St. Matthias Academy Warriors (Downey, CA), observed Hoover's softball team prevail over St. Pius X-St. Matthias Academy by a tally of 19-9.

The Tornados (7-2) will now prepare for their bout against Monroe (North Hills, CA). The Vikings go into the non-league bout with a 0-0 record.
