Spectators at Wednesday's non-league battle between the Sweetwater Red Devils (National City, CA) and the visiting Central Spartans (El Centro, CA), saw Sweetwater's baseball squad edge Central by a margin of 5-4.

Coming up next, the Red Devils play the High Tech SD Storm (San Diego, CA) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, March 10. Sweetwater will attempt to better on its 4-1 season record. The Storm enter the battle with a 1-3 record after their 14-5 non-league loss to El Cajon Valley (El Cajon, CA).

The Spartans now sport a 3-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lake Havasu for a non-league battle on Thursday, March 17. Central will play a Knights squad coming off a 8-2 non-league loss to Willow Canyon (Surprise, AZ). The Knights record now stands at 8-3.
