The Monte Vista Christian Mustangs nudged the visiting St. Francis Sharks baseball team by a tally of 3-2 in Wednesday's league bout.

The Mustangs now hold a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they host Summerville for a non-league bout on Saturday, March 12. Monte Vista Christian will face a Bears team coming off a 5-2 non-league loss to Watsonville (Watsonville, CA). The Bears record now stands at 4-4.
