March 9, 2022: Lancaster, SC 29720 The Buford Yellowjackets soccer team (Lancaster, SC), was nipped 1-0 in Wednesday's non-league outing with the visiting South Pointe Stallions (Rock Hill, SC)
With the win, South Pointe advances its record to 1-5 on the campaign. The Stallions host Catawba Ridge (Fort Mill, SC) to clash with the Copperheads in a AAAA Region 3 game on Friday, March 11. The Copperheads go into the game with a record of 7-2. Catawba Ridge won 6-2 in their recent non-league game against Nation Ford (Fort Mill, SC)
The Yellowjackets (3-4) will now prepare for their game against Cheraw (Cheraw, SC). The Braves go into the AA Region 4 game with a 2-1 record. In their last game, Cheraw nipped North Central (Kershaw, SC), 5-1, in a league game.
