The Watauga Pioneers crushed the host Alleghany Trojans baseball team by a count of 17-0 in Thursday's non-league bout.

The Pioneers now possess a 6-0 record. They take the field next when they host Mitchell for a non-league bout on Monday, March 13. Watauga will face a Mountaineers team coming off a 9-8 non-league loss to Brevard (Brevard, NC). The Mountaineers record now stands at 0-3.

Next, the Trojans face the Bishop McGuinness Villains (Kernersville, NC) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, March 9. Alleghany will attempt to move on its 1-4 season record. The Villains enter the bout with a 2-1 record after their 20-8 non-league loss to Dudley (Greensboro, NC).
