Burns Bulldogs (Lawndale, NC) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting East Gaston Warriors (Mt. Holly, NC), 10-1 in a non-league test.

With the win, Burns upgrades its record to 5-0 on the season. The Bulldogs host Hibriten (Lenoir, NC) to battle the Panthers in a non-league test on Tuesday, March 14. The Panthers come into the test with a record of 2-1. Hibriten lost 8-4 in their recent non-league test against Foard (Newton, NC)

With the defeat, East Gaston falls to 1-3 on the season. The Warriors host Hopewell (Huntersville, NC) to battle the Titans in a non-league test on Tuesday, March 14.
