Coronado Cougars (Henderson, NV) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Rancho Rams (Las Vegas, NV), 15-0 in a league challenge.

The Cougars now own a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host Foothill for a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 11.

With the loss, Rancho falls to 3-5 on the campaign. The Rams travel to Silverado (Las Vegas, NV) to face the Skyhawks in a non-league challenge on Friday, March 10. The Skyhawks enter the challenge with a record of 3-3. Silverado lost 15-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Green Valley (Henderson, NV)
