North Carolina High School Softball - South Stokes bounces East Forsyth
March 9, 2023: Walnut Cove, NC 27052 South Stokes Sauras (Walnut Cove, NC) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting East Forsyth Eagles (Kernersville, NC), 6-0 in a non-league challenge.
The Sauras now own a 4-0 record. They take the field next when they host Alleghany for a Northwest 1A challenge on Tuesday, March 14. South Stokes will battle a Trojans squad coming off a 15-0 non-league loss to Ashe County (West Jefferson, NC). The Trojans record now stands at 0-5.
With the loss, East Forsyth falls to 2-1 on the campaign. The Eagles host Davie (Mocksville, NC) to battle the War Eagles in a Central Piedmont 4A challenge on Friday, March 10. The War Eagles enter the challenge with a record of 4-1. Davie won 17-0 in their recent league challenge against R.J. Reynolds (Winston-Salem, NC)
