March 9, 2024: Lubbock, TX 79423 The Lubbock-Cooper Pirates (Lubbock, TX) baseball trounced the visiting Socorro Bulldogs (El Paso, TX), 8-1 in Saturday's non-league contest.
Coming up next, the Pirates play the San Angelo Central Bobcats (San Angelo, TX) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, March 9. Lubbock-Cooper will attempt to better on its 16-13 season record. The Bobcats enter the contest with a 6-15 record after their 8-5 non-league win over Coronado (El Paso, TX).
The Bulldogs now sport a 11-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Montwood for a 6A Region I District 1 contest on Friday, March 15. Socorro will play a Rams squad coming off a 5-0 league win over Americas (El Paso, TX). The Rams record now stands at 11-6.
