Louisiana High School Baseball - New Iberia loses to Sulphur
March 9, 2024: New Iberia, LA 70560 In Saturday's league game, the visiting Sulphur Golden Tors baseball team scored a nice 12-1 victory over the New Iberia Yellowjackets.
The Golden Tors (7-3) will now prepare for their game against St. Thomas More (Lafayette, LA). The Cougars go into the non-league game with a 4-7 record. In their last game, St. Thomas More was overwhelmed by Barbe (Lake Charles, LA), 5-4, in a non-league game.
The Yellowjackets (7-5) will now prepare for their game against Erath (Erath, LA). The Bobcats go into the 3A District 5 game with a 10-3 record. In their last game, Erath ran past Central Lafourche (Raceland, LA), 10-1, in a non-league game.
