March 9, 2024: Cleveland, TX 77327 Spectators at Saturday's league match between the New Caney Eagles (New Caney, TX) and the host Cleveland Indians (Cleveland, TX), witnessed New Caney's softball squad tip Cleveland by a count of 8-1.
The Eagles now sport a 12-9 record. They play next when they host Grand Oaks for a 6A Region II District 13 match on Tuesday, March 12. New Caney will meet a Grizzlies squad coming off a 4-3 league loss to Oak Ridge (Conroe, TX). The Grizzlies record now stands at 13-9.
