Alabama High School Softball - North Sand Mountain holds off Holly Pond
March 9, 2024: Higdon, AL 35979 North Sand Mountain Bison (Higdon, AL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Holly Pond Broncos (Holly Pond, AL), 6-4 in a non-league challenge.
The Bison now own a 4-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Boaz for a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 9. North Sand Mountain will battle a Pirates squad coming off a 12-2 non-league win over Good Hope (Cullman, AL). The Pirates record now stands at 7-1.
With the loss, Holly Pond falls to 1-7 on the campaign. The Broncos host Good Hope (Cullman, AL) to battle the Raiders in a non-league challenge on Monday, March 11. The Raiders enter the challenge with a record of 2-1. Good Hope lost 12-2 in their recent non-league challenge against Boaz (Boaz, AL)
