Alabama High School Softball - Red Bay gets by Vina
March 9, 2024: Vina, AL 35593 The Red Bay Tigers nipped the host Vina Red Devils softball squad by a final score of 5-4 in Saturday's non-league battle.
The Tigers (9-3) will now prepare for their battle against Tharptown (Russellville, AL). The Wildcats go into the 2A Area 13 battle with a 9-7 record. In their last battle, Tharptown was edged by Waterloo (Waterloo, AL), 3-0, in a non-league battle.
The Red Devils now possess a 4-8 record. They play next when they host Covenant Christian for a non-league battle on Monday, March 11. Vina will meet a Eagles squad coming off a 6-5 non-league loss to Colbert Heights (Tuscumbia, AL). The Eagles record now stands at 1-4.
