The Southwest Dragons baseball team scored 9 runs and held the host MacArthur Brahmas to 2 in the Dragons league win on Monday.

The Dragons now hold a 14-1 record. They take the field next when they host Harlandale for a 5A Region IV District 28 test on Thursday, March 12. Southwest will battle a Indians squad coming off a 3-2 league loss to McCollum (San Antonio, TX). The Indians record now stands at 8-6.

The Brahmas (5-11) will now prepare for their outing against Jay (San Antonio, TX). The Mustangs come into the 5A Region IV District 28 outing with a 5-7 record. In their last outing, Jay was overwhelmed by South San Antonio (San Antonio, TX), 5-0, in a league test.
