Highland Prep Honey Badgers (Surprise, AZ) supporters left the game pleased Monday as they saw their softball squad thwart the host Somerton Toros (Somerton, AZ), 11-1 in a non-league match.

The Honey Badgers (2-3) will now prepare for their match against River Valley (Mohave Valley, AZ). The Dust Devils come into the 3A West match with a 0-5 record. In their last match, River Valley was routed by Arbor View (Las Vegas, NV), 1-0, in a non-league match.

In their next game, the Toros confront the Tonopah Valley Phoenix (Tonopah, AZ) in a non-league game, on Monday, March 16. Somerton will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The Phoenix enter the game with a 3-1 record after their 19-7 league win over Odyssey Institute (Buckeye, AZ).
