April 1, 2022: North Richland Hills, TX 76180 Spectators at Friday's league battle between the Birdville Hawks (North Richland Hills, TX) and the visiting Grapevine Mustangs (Grapevine, TX), saw Birdville's baseball squad edge Grapevine by a count of 3-2.
Coming up next, the Hawks play the Aledo Bearcats (Aledo, TX) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, April 2. Birdville will attempt to move on its 15-2 season record. The Bearcats go into the match with a 13-5 record after their 5-0 league win over Granbury (Granbury, TX).
The Mustangs (9-11) will now prepare for their match against Ryan (Denton, TX). The Raiders go into the 5A Region I District 6 match with a 1-7 record. In their last match, Ryan was edged by Denton (Denton, TX), 5-4, in a league match.
