April 1, 2022: Rossville, GA 30741 Spectators at Friday's league battle between the Heritage Generals (Ringgold, GA) and the host Ridgeland Panthers (Rossville, GA), saw Heritage's baseball squad knock off Ridgeland by a count of 17-4.
Coming up next, the Generals play the Northwest Whitfield Bruins (Tunnel Hill, GA) in a AAAA Region 7 battle, on Tuesday, April 5. Heritage will attempt to move on its 14-7 season record. The Bruins enter the battle with a 11-9 record after their 13-2 league win over Southeast Whitfield County (Dalton, GA).
The Panthers now possess a 6-10 record. They take the field next when they travel to Central for a AAAA Region 7 battle on Tuesday, April 5. Ridgeland will play a Lions squad coming off a 4-1 non-league win over Alexander (Douglasville, GA). The Lions record now stands at 13-7.
