Parkersburg South Patriots (Parkersburg, WV) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Hurricane Redskins (Hurricane, WV), 13-5 in a league test.

With the win, Parkersburg South upgrades its record to 2-2 on the season. The Patriots travel to Fort Frye (Beverly, OH) to battle the Cadets in a non-league test on Tuesday, April 5. The Cadets come into the test with a record of 0-1. Fort Frye lost 8-4 in their recent league test against Barnesville (Barnesville, OH)
