April 1, 2022: Rome, GA 30161 Model Blue Devils (Rome, GA) fans were pleased Friday as they observed their soccer team knock off the visiting Fannin County Rebels (Blue Ridge, GA), 2-0 in a league challenge.
Next, the Blue Devils confront the Callaway Cavaliers (Hogansville, GA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, April 15. Model will attempt to better on its 8-6 season record.
With the loss, Fannin County drops to 2-8 on the season. The Rebels travel to Dade County (Trenton, GA) to meet the Wolverines in a AA Region 7 test on Tuesday, April 5. The Wolverines come into the test with a record of 2-11. Dade County won 4-0 in their recent non-league test against Chattooga (Summerville, GA)
