April 1, 2022: Horse Cave, KY 42749 The Caverna Colonels softball team scored 10 runs and limited the visiting Nelson County Cardinals to 5 in the Colonels non-league triumph on Friday.
With the triumph, Caverna moves its record to 5-5 on the year. The Colonels host Green County (Greensburg, KY) to clash with the Dragons in a District 18 game on Monday, April 11. The Dragons come into the game with a record of 5-1.
In their next game, the Cardinals clash with the Grayson County Cougars (Leitchfield, KY) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, April 5. Nelson County will attempt to move on its 2-5 season record. The Cougars come into the game with a 2-3 record after their 12-1 non-league win over Hart County (Munfordville, KY).
