West Virginia High School Softball - WestSide nudges Liberty
April 1, 2022: Glen Daniel, WV 25844 The crowd at Friday's league match between the WestSide Renegades (Clear Fork, WV) and the host Liberty Raiders (Glen Daniel, WV), saw WestSide's softball squad nip Liberty by a count of 5-4.
The Renegades now sport a 2-3 record. They take the field next when they host Wyoming East for a Coalfield AA match on Tuesday, April 5. WestSide will face a Warriors squad coming off a 4-0 non-league loss to Woodrow Wilson (Beckley, WV). The Warriors record now stands at 7-7.
With the loss, Liberty falls to 1-8 on the campaign. The Raiders travel to St. Albans (St. Albans, WV) to face the Red Dragons in a non-league match on Saturday, April 2. The Red Dragons enter the match with a record of 6-2. St. Albans lost 7-5 in their recent league match against Cabell Midland (Ona, WV)
