Illinois High School Volleyball - St. Francis edged by Conant
April 1, 2023: Hoffman Estates, IL 60169 The Conant Cougars held off the visiting St. Francis Spartans volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Cougars now have a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Barrington for a test on Tuesday, April 4. Conant will confront a Fillies/Broncos team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Palatine (Palatine, IL). The Fillies/Broncos record now stands at 4-1.
The Spartans (4-2) will now prepare for their test against Marmion (Aurora, IL). The Cadets enter the non-league test with a 4-8 record. In their last test, Marmion was nudged by Oswego East (Oswego, IL), 2-1, in a non-league test.
