In Saturday's league test, the host Riverhead Blue Waves lacrosse squad scored a tight 10-9 victory over the Patchogue-Medford Raiders.

The Blue Waves now have a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Longwood for a Section 11 I test on Tuesday, April 11. Riverhead will face a Lions squad coming off a 8-7 league loss to Smithtown East (Smithtown, NY). The Lions record now stands at 1-3.

In their next game, the Raiders face the Walt Whitman Wildcats (Huntington Station, NY) in a Section 11 I test, on Monday, April 3. Patchogue-Medford will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record. The Wildcats come into the test with a 1-1 record after their 13-5 league loss to Connetquot (Bohemia, NY).
