April 1, 2024: Cave City, AR 72521 The Salem Greyhounds baseball team (Salem, AR), was overwhelmed 10-0 in Monday's league outing with the host Cave City Cavemen (Cave City, AR)
The Cavemen now hold a 10-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mountain View for a 3A Region 2 outing on Tuesday, April 2. Cave City will confront a Yellowjackets team coming off a 9-2 league loss to Newport (Newport, AR). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 3-8.
Next, the Greyhounds confront the Walnut Ridge Bobcats (Walnut Ridge, AR) in a 3A Region 2 outing, on Tuesday, April 2. Salem will attempt to advance on its 7-9 season record. The Bobcats go into the outing with a 11-3 record after their 2-1 league win over Melbourne (Melbourne, AR).
