West Trojans (West, TX) fans left the game pleased Tuesday as they observed their baseball squad achieve victory over the host Riesel Indians (Riesel, TX), 3-1 in a non-league match.

With the triumph, West advances its record to 11-5 on the season. The Trojans host Whitney (Whitney, TX) to battle the Wildcats in a 3A Region III District 17 match on Tuesday, April 8. The Wildcats come into the match with a record of 8-7.

The Indians now have a 5-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Abbott for a non-league match on Friday, April 4.
