New York High School Lacrosse - Greece Athena drops to Geneva
April 1, 2025: Geneva, NY 14456 Geneva Panthers (Geneva, NY) followers exited the stadium satisfied Tuesday as they saw their lacrosse team top the visiting Greece Athena Trojans (Rochester, NY), 20-5 in a non-league game.
With the victory, Geneva advances its record to 2-0 on the season. The Panthers host Mynderse Academy (Seneca Falls, NY) to play the Blue Devils in a Section 5 Finger Lakes II game on Friday, April 4. The Blue Devils come into the game with a record of 0-3. Mynderse Academy lost 11-9 in their recent league game against Waterloo (Waterloo, NY)
The Trojans now sport a 0-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Gananda Central for a non-league game on Thursday, April 3. Greece Athena will play a Blue Panthers team coming off a 19-7 non-league loss to Brockport (Brockport, NY). The Blue Panthers record now stands at 0-1.
