April 1, 2025: Snyder, TX 79549 In Tuesday's league test, the Snyder Tigers (Snyder, TX) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Estacado Matadors (Lubbock, TX), by a count of 15-0.
Next, the Tigers meet the Lake View Chiefs/Maidens (San Angelo, TX) in a 4A Region I District 5 test, on Friday, April 4. Snyder will attempt to upgrade on its 14-6 season record. The Chiefs/Maidens go into the test with a 11-10 record after their 8-5 league loss to Big Spring (Big Spring, TX).
The Matadors (4-15) will now prepare for their test against Liberty (Lubbock, TX). The Patriots go into the 4A Region I District 5 test with a 6-18 record. In their last test, Liberty was routed by Levelland (Levelland, TX), 16-1, in a league test.
