New Jersey High School Softball - Hopatcong can't get by Wallkill Valley
April 1, 2025: Hopatcong, NJ 07843 Wallkill Valley Rangers (Hamburg, NJ) backers left the game pleased Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nudge the host Hopatcong Chiefs (Hopatcong, NJ), 6-5 in a league game.
With the triumph, Wallkill Valley upgrades its record to 1-0 on the year. The Rangers travel to Kittatinny Regional (Newton, NJ) to play the Cougars in a non-league game on Thursday, April 3. The Cougars enter the game with a record of 1-0. Kittatinny Regional won 17-7 in their recent non-league game against Dover (Dover, NJ)
The Chiefs now own a 1-1 record. They play next when they travel to Sussex County Tech for a NJAC - Colonial game on Thursday, April 3. Hopatcong will play a squad coming off a 2-1 league loss to Newton (Newton, NJ). The record now stands at 1-1.
