Lugoff-Elgin Demons (Lugoff, SC) backers left the game pleased Tuesday as they saw their softball squad thwart the host Ridge View Blazers (Columbia, SC), 16-0 in a league game.

With the triumph, Lugoff-Elgin upgrades its record to 5-11 on the year. The Demons travel to Gray Collegiate Academy (West Columbia, SC) to play the War Eagles in a non-league game on Wednesday, April 2. The War Eagles enter the game with a record of 16-1. Gray Collegiate Academy won 9-4 in their recent non-league game against A.C. Flora (Columbia, SC)
