The Asheboro Blue Comets (Asheboro, NC) softball routed the host Trinity Bulldogs (Trinity, NC), 18-11 in Wednesday's non-league outing.

The Blue Comets now sport a 6-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Southeast Guilford for a non-league test on Tuesday, April 14.

The Bulldogs (2-7) will now prepare for their test against East Davidson (Thomasville, NC). The Golden Eagles go into the Central Carolina 3A test with a 6-4 record. In their last test, East Davidson was routed by West Davidson (Lexington, NC), 6-1, in a league test.
