Elysian Fields Yellowjackets (Elysian Fields, TX) supporters left the game pleased Wednesday as they saw their softball squad thwart the visiting Waskom Wildcats (Waskom, TX), 16-6 in a league game.

With the triumph, Elysian Fields improves its record to 14-15 on the year. The Yellowjackets travel to Carlisle (Price, TX) to play the Indians in a 2A Region III District 19 game on Tuesday, April 7. The Indians enter the game with a record of 2-12. Carlisle lost 22-1 in their recent league match against Beckville (Beckville, TX)

In their next game, the Wildcats battle the Ore City Rebels (Ore City, TX) in a 2A Region III District 19 match, on Tuesday, April 7. Waskom will attempt to better on its 10-20 season record. The Rebels come into the match with a 12-18 record after their 11-7 league loss to Overton (Overton, TX).
