April 10, 2023: Bellingham, WA 98226 The crowd at Monday's league test between the Meridian Trojans (Bellingham, WA) and the visiting Lynden Christian Lyncs (Lynden, WA), saw Meridian's soccer squad triumph over Lynden Christian by a margin of 8-0.
The Trojans now sport a 1-0 record. They play next when they host Anacortes for a 1A/2A/3A Northwest test on Wednesday, April 12. Meridian will meet a Seahawks squad coming off a 1-0 league loss to Burlington-Edison (Burlington, WA). The Seahawks record now stands at 1-1.
With the loss, Lynden Christian drops to 0-1 on the season. The Lyncs travel to Nooksack Valley (Everson, WA) to meet the Pioneers in a 1A/2A/3A Northwest test on Wednesday, April 12. The Pioneers come into the test with a record of 0-1. Nooksack Valley lost 6-0 in their recent league test against Blaine (Blaine, WA)
