April 10, 2023: Hudson, WI 54016 The crowd at Monday's league match between the Chippewa Falls Cardinals (Chippewa Falls, WI) and the host Hudson Raiders (Hudson, WI), saw Chippewa Falls's softball squad nip Hudson by a count of 8-3.
The Cardinals now sport a 3-0 record. They take the field next when they host Menomonie for a Big Rivers match on Thursday, April 13.
With the loss, Hudson falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Raiders host Black River Falls (Black River Falls, WI) to face the Tigers in a non-league match on Tuesday, April 11. The Tigers enter the match with a record of 1-0. Black River Falls won 8-7 in their recent non-league match against Sparta (Sparta, WI)
