The Hopewell-Loudon Chieftains routed the host Gibsonburg Golden Bears softball squad by a final score of 10-0 in Monday's league battle.

The Chieftains (7-0) will now prepare for their battle against Calvert (Tiffin, OH). The Senecas go into the Sandusky Bay - River battle with a 2-2 record. In their last battle, Calvert topped St. Joseph Central Catholic (Fremont, OH), 14-4, in a league battle.
