Wisconsin High School Softball - Mishicot holds off Shawano Community
April 10, 2023: Mishicot, WI 54228 The crowd at Monday's non-league match between the Mishicot Indians (Mishicot, WI) and the visiting Shawano Community Hawks (Shawano, WI), saw Mishicot's softball squad nip Shawano Community by a count of 4-2.
The Indians now sport a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host Manitowoc Lutheran for a Big East match on Tuesday, April 11. Mishicot will face a Lancers squad coming off a 9-2 non-league win over Oostburg (Oostburg, WI). The Lancers record now stands at 1-0.
With the loss, Shawano Community falls to 2-3 on the campaign. The Hawks travel to Seymour (Seymour, WI) to face the Thunder in a Bay match on Thursday, April 13. The Thunder enter the match with a record of 1-1. Seymour lost 23-8 in their recent league match against Menasha (Menasha, WI)
