Washington High School Baseball - Highline nips Interlake
April 10, 2024: Burien, WA 98148 Highline Pirates (Burien, WA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the visiting Interlake Saints (Bellevue, WA), 2-1 in a non-league test.
With the win, Highline improves its record to 3-5 on the year. The Pirates host Liberty (Issaquah, WA) to clash with the Patriots in a non-league game on Friday, April 12. The Patriots go into the game with a record of 7-6. Liberty lost 6-5 in their recent non-league game against Ellensburg (Ellensburg, WA)
The Saints (0-9) will now prepare for their game against Bellevue (Bellevue, WA). The Wolverines go into the 3A KingCo game with a 5-8 record.
