The East Gaston Warriors baseball team scored 10 runs and held the visiting Thomas Jefferson Classical Academy Gryphons to 0 in the Warriors league win on Thursday.

The Warriors now own a 9-8 record. They take the field next when they host Thomas Jefferson Classical Academy for a Southern Piedmont 1A/2A test on Thursday, April 10. East Gaston will play a Gryphons team coming off a 11-1 league loss to Shelby (Shelby, NC). The Gryphons record now stands at 1-11.

With the defeat, Thomas Jefferson Classical Academy drops to 1-12 on the year. The Gryphons travel to East Gaston (Mt. Holly, NC) to play the Warriors in a Southern Piedmont 1A/2A test on Thursday, April 10. The Warriors go into the test with a record of 8-8. East Gaston lost 18-9 in their recent non-league test against Lincoln Charter (Denver, NC)
